ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Website Accessibility of www.Gruppogreenway.It

Compliance Status

We firmly believe that the Internet should be available and accessible to everyone, and we are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of individual abilities.

To achieve this goal, we strive to adhere as closely as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. Complying with them helps us ensure that our site is accessible to people who are blind, have motor disabilities, visual impairments, cognitive challenges, and more.

This website uses various technologies designed to ensure accessibility at all times. We use an accessibility interface that allows people with specific disabilities to customize the site’s user interface (UI) according to their needs.

In addition, the site uses an artificial intelligence–based application that operates in the background and continuously optimizes the level of accessibility. This application adjusts the site’s HTML code, adapts its features for screen readers used by blind users, and enhances keyboard navigation for people with motor disabilities.

Screen Readers and Keyboard Navigation

Our website implements the ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attribute technique, along with various behavioral adjustments, to ensure that blind users who rely on screen readers can read, understand, and use all site features. As soon as a user with a screen reader enters the site, they receive a prompt to activate the Screen Reader Profile mode, enabling them to navigate and use the site effectively. Here is how our site meets the main requirements:

Optimization for screen readers:

  • We run a process that analyzes all site components to ensure compliance even during future updates.

  • We provide screen readers with useful information through ARIA attributes: proper labels for forms, descriptions for icons (social media, search, cart, etc.), validation guidance, and element roles (buttons, menus, pop-ups, etc.).

Additionally, the background process:

  • Scans all the images on the site.

  • Generates alternative descriptions (ALT) using AI-based object recognition.

  • Extracts text present in images with OCR (optical character recognition) technology.

To activate screen reader adjustments at any time, simply press Alt+1. Users also receive an automatic alert upon entering the site to activate this mode.

The adjustments are compatible with the most common screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.

Optimization for Keyboard Navigation:

The background process also modifies the site’s HTML and integrates behaviors via JavaScript code to make the site fully usable by keyboard:

  • Navigation with Tab and Shift+Tab

  • Opening dropdown menus with arrow keys

  • Closing with Esc

  • Activating buttons and links with Enter

  • Navigating between radio options and checkboxes with arrow, selecting with Space or Enter

There are also skip content menus that can be activated with Alt+2, or accessed as the first element when using the keyboard. Popups are automatically managed by moving the keyboard focus to them.

Additionally, shortcuts are available:

  • M for menu

  • H for headers

  • F for forms

  • B for buttons

  • G for graphics

Additional UI, Design, and Readability Adjustments

  • Font adjustments: ability to increase or decrease text size, change font, spacing, alignment, line height, etc.

  • Color adjustments: ability to choose high contrast profiles (light, dark, inverted, monochrome), change text, title, and background colors with over 7 combinations.

  • Animations: epileptic users can disable all animations (videos, GIFs, CSS transitions).

  • Content highlighting: highlighting of links and titles, or only selected elements or on mouse hover.

  • Audio muting: users with hearing devices can quickly mute automatic audio.

  • Cognitive disorders: integrated search engine with Wikipedia and Wiktionary to understand meanings of phrases, abbreviations, slang, etc.

  • Additional features: change cursor color and size, print mode, virtual keyboard, and more.

Compatibility with Assistive Technologies and Browsers

Our goal is to support as many browsers and assistive technologies as possible, to offer maximum flexibility to users. The site is compatible with all major browsers that represent over 95% of the market: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera, Microsoft Edge and with screen readers like JAWS and NVDA, both on Windows and MAC.

Notes, Comments, and Feedback

Despite our efforts to adapt the site to everyone’s needs, there may be pages or sections not yet fully accessible, under update, or lacking an adequate technological solution. However, we continuously work to improve accessibility, adding, updating, and refining features, and adopting new technologies. All this to achieve an optimal level of accessibility in line with technological advancements.

While we constantly strive to improve the site’s accessibility, some pages or content may not yet fully comply with the desired standards.
