THE OPERATIONAL HEART OF
GREENWAY GROUP
From agriculture to energy, including wine: an integrated and sustainable model
The Greenway Group has built an agro-industrial model that integrates renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and territorial enhancement.
From agronomic management of the land to energy production from biomass, to the winemaking and distribution of wines under the Filare Italia brand, every activity is designed to generate environmental, economic, and social value.
A multidisciplinary team works daily to ensure operational efficiency, innovation, and environmental respect, actively contributing to the energy transition and the promotion of local excellence.
Greenway: Cultivating the Future, Generating Value
An agro-industrial ecosystem where sustainability, innovation, and territory grow together.
ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE
The administrative and financial management of the Group’s companies is entrusted to a team that goes beyond the bureaucratic requirements of the energy sector, actively collaborating with the General Management to implement the company’s agro-industrial plan. The goal is for financial levers to support the Group’s operational strategies and sustainable development.
AGRONOMY
The Group oversees the entire agronomic chain: from soil and vineyard management to the development of the cultivation plan, to supervising the activities of subcontractors. Compliance with technical and company protocols is verified at every stage. The vineyards, located between Codroipo and San Daniele on alluvial soils, benefit from the favorable microclimate that enhances the aromatic characteristics of the grapes.
PLANT MANAGEMENT
A specialized team manages the daily operations of the plants, with mechanical and electronic skills to perform routine maintenance internally. Constant monitoring of technical and management parameters ensures the stability of energy production and efficiency in biomass use.
With the two active plants, the Group produces approximately 17.9 million kW/year, covering the estimated energy needs of 20,000 people.
The process residues (digestate) are valued as organic fertilizer, returning nutrients to the soil and reducing the use of chemical fertilizers.
SALES AND MARKETING
The sales, marketing, and product placement function coordinates the distribution of wines under the FILARE ITALIA brand. An international team manages relationships with distributors (handled directly by the front office). Wine transformation and logistics activities are entrusted to local partners with solid experience.
The vineyards of central-eastern Friuli produce perfect grapes for sparkling, fizzy, rosé, and delicate white wines.
Among the main labels: Ribolla Gialla Spumante Brut (ambassador of Middle Friuli), Pinot Grigio, Prosecco, Rosé, and Sauvignon.
GOVERNANCE
The Group’s governance aims to generate shared value for all stakeholders. By defining strategic objectives consistent with market evolution and the social context, the Group’s ability to adapt to complex economic and environmental scenarios is ensured.
The decision-making structure integrates sustainability and resilience into processes, so that the entrepreneurial model evolves in harmony with the territory, community, and environment.
